Work with Us
Iconal is always looking for talented people to join our team. We offer a great opportunity to apply technical skills to real-world problems. All our employees’ work makes a difference, both within the company and in the security field worldwide.
We pride ourselves on our flexibility, both in reacting quickly to new challenges and in supporting our employees. All of the current Iconal team work flexibly and several of us work less than full-time.
We recognise that diverse teams produce better results. We are committed to increasing diversity at Iconal, so that we can best address the security issues that affect everyone in society. We are a small team and it’s very important to us that all our employees feel valued and included. This is the only way we can reach our full potential – and it’s the right thing to do.
We want to hire the best people to work with us and we will assess this based on candidates’ potential contributions to the company – not their other characteristics or commitments. We will consider applications for full-time, part-time or other flexible roles.
If our work sounds interesting, we have a list of current opportunities at the end of this page or please get in touch – we will be delighted to hear from you.
What’s it like to work here?

Our current and past employees say… (taken from our Glassdoor profile)
“Working in a team with such friendly and technically-skilled people is highly rewarding”
“Everyone has a voice and can contribute not only to conversations on their area of expertise, but on the direction of the company as a whole”
Although we are not currently actively hiring we always welcome speculative applications for a Technology Consultant to join our team. This role will involve elements of hands-on scientific experimentation, technical R&D, data analysis, technology forecasts and foresighting studies, laboratory and field test & evaluation of new and emerging technology using techniques from across a wide range of physics, chemistry, material science and electronics engineering and IT. Please contact email@example.com to apply or for more information.
As a small team we don’t have a formal graduate programme, however we have a number of our team who have joined us directly from university and encourage any speculative applications for the Technology Consultant position from people who have finished, or are just finishing a programme of undergraduate or postgraduate study. Because we are a small focused team, opportunities for development and growth for graduates will be faster than in a large company for the right candidates.
We have just filled our internship position for summer 2023. Please get in touch in early 2024 (February ideally) if you’d like to join us next year. This role will involve elements of hands-on scientific experimentation, technical R&D, data analysis, and laboratory testing. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org from next year to apply or for more information.
