ABOUT THIS POLICY

This website is run by Iconal Technology Ltd and built on Squarespace, which places a small number of cookies on your device when you visit. All of them are set by us or by Squarespace on our behalf. No other company sets or reads a cookie here.

1. ESSENTIAL COOKIES

These keep the site working and remember what you chose on the cookie banner. We set them without asking, because the site can't function properly without them. You can still block them in your browser settings, but our contact form will stop working if you do.

  • crumb (session) — a security token that stops forms on this site being submitted from somewhere else without your knowledge

  • ss_performanceCookiesAllowed (30 days) — records whether you accepted analytics cookies

  • ss_marketingCookiesAllowed (30 days) — records whether you accepted marketing cookies

The two preference cookies store nothing but true or false. They hold no identifier, so they can't be used to recognise you.

2. ANALYTICS COOKIES

These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and how they found us. We use this only to improve the website. The data isn't shared with anyone else or used for advertising, and we don't use it to identify, track or profile individual visitors.

We only set these if you accept them on the cookie banner. If you decline, they are never placed.

  • ss_cvr (2 years) — gives your browser a randomly generated identifier and records your visits

  • ss_cvt (30 minutes) — marks your current visit, so several pages viewed in one sitting count as one visit rather than several

The identifier in ss_cvr is a random string, not your name or email, and we make no attempt to connect it to a real person.

3. MARKETING COOKIES

We don't currently set any. The banner asks anyway so that your answer is already on record if that ever changes.

4. NOTHING ELSE

There are no third-party cookies on this site. No embedded videos, maps, fonts, chat widgets, social buttons or advertising pixels. Nothing here follows you to other websites.

If we add anything that changes this, we'll update this page before it goes live.

5. OUR CONTACT FORM

If you use it, we collect the name, email and phone number you type in. That's covered by our Privacy Policy rather than this page, because it's information you give us deliberately rather than something stored on your device. The crumb cookie above is what lets the form work securely, but it holds none of your form data.

6. CHANGING YOUR MIND

Use the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of any page. Declining analytics removes ss_cvr and ss_cvt and stops them being set again.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking crumb will stop our contact form working; blocking the rest won't affect how the site behaves.
