We take on all sorts of complex challenges for our clients, with particular experience in sensing and imaging technologies for homeland security. We care about doing good in the world, and about making it a safer place.

Our team is analytical, creative and hands-on.
We run feasibility studies, build proof-of-concept prototypes, develop new materials (including simulants) and model complex physical systems in software.
We’re at our best running experiments and making careful observations, both in our own well-equipped labs and out in the field.
Working with us gives you a team of practical scientists and engineers on-call, without the overheads. Being small keeps us flexible, responsive and quick to deliver for our clients.

Our research, our strategy work and our commercial independence make us ideally placed to test new and emerging technologies, especially the ones that are hard to test, including live explosives work.
Fundamentally, we help clients find out whether a product does what it says on the tin, with statistically robust results they can stand behind when making decisions about procurement, funding, regulation or capability.
We also design test methods and standards, and produce and supply test objects, ranging from explosive simulants and X-ray test pieces to an entire aircraft's worth of luggage.
